Excellent clay-limestone soil gives this Merlot-based St Emilion wine its distinctive taste. Fermentation occurs in oak and stainless-steel vats with automatic temperature-control. Post-fermentation micro-oxygenation and malolactic fermentation occur.

Nose: Extremely fresh expressing intense black fruit notes. Hints of cedar mingle with the aroma of Morello cherries.
Palate: Elegant palate with an initial bold attack, followed by magnificent breadth. Sophisticated, velvety tannins evoke crisp black fruits. All underlined by a restrained woodiness with a subtle liquorice redolence.
Finish: Long and persistent.
