The Tullamore distillery was one of the most famous distilleries but closed in 1954. The famous stills from the distillery are now kept in Kilbeggan beside the old Lockes distillery and could possibly be used again! Now a light triple distilled blend with the grain whiskey most dominant, made at Midleton distillery. The top selling Irish whiskey in many European countries where the preference is for a lighter, inoffensive style. Sweet vanilla with a touch of spice.
