A deluxe blend of selected casks of Jameson whiskey, up to 20 years old and featuring some whiskey uniquely aged in virgin American oak casks. Originally called Jameson XO for the Asian duty free market. Because there is so little of this new American virgin wood in stock this will always be very limited. 'In a word stunning! There is a rich, full pot still character one normally prays for in a Jameson and it arrives healthily and kept in good company by ripe juicy sultanas, a yeasty fruitiness and a dollop of acacia honey. Taste: Sweet, crisp start with the unmalted barley arriving first. Then there is an eruption in the mouth as a massive wave of rich, creamy oils and honey take over the proceedings.
