The world's largest selling Irish whiskey! After roughly 200 years of whiskey production at Bow St distillery, Jameson distillery closed in 1971 and is now distilled at the magnificent Midleton distillery. A blend of roughly 50% pot still and 50% grain whiskey, it is matured in first fill bourbon and sherry wood for between 4-7 years. Of all whiskey brands Jameson might appeal to a wider cross section of people than any other, but this shouldn't take away from the fact that it is a very good whiskey. It has a sweet spicy nose with a touch of sherry. Medium bodied, extemely smooth, lightly oily, pot still flavours with a soft spicy finish.

Nose: To the nose, Jameson has a light floral fragrance, peppered with spicy wood and sweet notes.
Taste: Perfect balance of spicy, nutty and vanilla notes with hints of sweet sherry and exceptional smoothness.
