Che Do Bheatha 2012

After last year's festival being a big success, Kilkee will be hosting the second Ché Do Bheatha festival between September 28th and 30th 2012. This year, Che do Bheatha Latin-American Cultural Festival will celebrate the Latin American culture, along with the 41th anniversary of Che's visit in Kilkee in September 1961.

The whole weekend will be full of events, with Cuban and Latin American bands playing in every pub in town, music and dancing workshops and art displayed in every corner of Kilkee.

A Cuban festival couldn't take place without cigars! Rob Fox will be hosting a cigar, wine and rum tasting in the Greyhound Bar between 6 and 8pm on Saturday September 29th, where all attendees will have the chance to sample premium Cuban cigars, Rum and Chilean wine.

For a full lineup of the events taking place of the weekend, please visit www.kilkeefestival.com the official website of the event, and to read about Rob's "hazy" memories along with photo evidence of 2011's event in Kilkee, view his blog entry.
