VIII AmiCigar Weekend, Dublin June 8th 2014, Day 3

After a great day on Saturday, Sunday was more of a chill-out day, with a lot of our friends heading back on early morning flights. We met up with those still in Dublin for a “survivors brunch” in Searsons Bar on Baggot Street, for a traditional Irish breakfast, the “hair of the dog” and our first cigar of the day, followed by the second!

Searsons have a large and cozy smoking area, that is sheltered and quiet enough for us to converse comfortably with our gravelly voices from the previous night.

After the brunch was over, most of the amicis headed towards the airport and hotels, while the ones on later flights dropped by the shop to see some of our vintage and pre-embargo cigars and hear all David’s stories about them.

A great weekend came to an end and we all had a great time meeting good friends and making new ones. It was a great privilege for us to be given the opportunity to host the VIII AmiCigar weekend in Dublin and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again next year in the Amalfi coast – arrivederci!
