Cigar & Teeling Whiskey Event in the Irish Whiskey Museum

Since the Irish Whiskey Museum opening a few months ago, and the idea of a cigar & whiskey evening lingered in our heads since, until, on April 9th it came to life. The newly opened Museum opened its doors to us for a private fun filled event, in collaboration with Teeling Whiskey Company.

The troops received a warm welcoming from our girls at the door and received their goodie bags, making way into the Georgian Bar of the Irish Whiskey Museum to start the evening with an Irish Whiskey Cocktail.

The attendees were split in two groups that toured the museum floors, going through the history of Irish Whiskey through the ages. Back to where we started, Cian Clynes was waiting for us back in the Georgian Bar, where we got the chance to get a great testament to the enduring legacy of the Teeling Family in distilling whiskeys, throught the tasting of the famous Teeling Whiskey Trilogy: the Teeling Small Batch, the Teeling Single Grain and the Teeling Single Malt.

The evening concluded in the patio of the Irish Whiskey Museum, were we got the chance to sample two Montecristo cigars, the Montecristo Edmundo and the Montecristo No.5, topped up with a nightcap – or a few nightcaps- of Teeling Whiskey and some canopies. We also had a draw with some great prizes, with the luck of the Irish striking again when Neil won a box of 2001 Diplomatico No.1.

A memorable night came to an end, leaving everyone asking “when is the next one on”. It is always our pleasure spending an evening with good friends, so keep an eye on this space!
